After a short ferry ride from Seattle, Central Market Poulsbo is a showcase for fresh farm-to-market products. Being situated on an island in the waters of the Puget Sound, a main focus was placed on fresh seafood. Phillips Enterprises, Inc. sourced a local manufacturer to custom design live tanks for this purpose. The live tanks are filled with an assortment of local shellfish and are surrounded by regional fresh-caught crab and salmon atop beds of ice. Phillips Enterprises, Inc. helped to create a shopping experience unmatched by any on the island. Knowing that Central Market is committed to the community, we created a place that the locals have fully embraced. The local school children frequently visit Central Market on field trips as an opportunity to teach them about where their favorite foods come from, showcasing Central Market’s unique approach to locally selected foods.
